This is the first time I made my way to my property. I had to hike through steaming cracks in a virgin rain forest to get to the property. This all stems from a photo that Bruce Omori had taken that looked my home was still standing. I called my buddy Kris and asked him how adventurous he was feeling that day. This is Fissure 8 on May 29th and is one of my favorite videos as it shows perspective. This video was taken about 1000′ away from the fissure and even though the home has been burned down the catchment tank is full size which is about 6′. This fountain is over 300′ high and you can feel the intense heat even from over 1000′ away.

This is fissure 7 as seen from Kris’ house off on Hookupu St on May 26th. This was the last day that Kris’ house was standing. Kris lost his house on the evening of May 27th and early morning May 28th. None of these videos have been shared before. Sorry, both of these fissures were right next to each other and they both look extremely similar and both had a mini fissure right to their left so they are hard for me to tell apart.
